Support to Go author Pat McRee is a two-time breast cancer survivor and the founding Director of Flying Colors (cancer support and resource center). After a thirteen-year career in marketing services management, Pat joined forces with Dr. Kirby Smith and The Memphis Cancer Foundation to pursue their shared dream of a full-time center where cancer survivors could meet and draw strength from each other. Flying Colors was born in June of 1996 and under her direction has served thousands of people touched by cancer, while serving as a model for centers around the country.

She has been named one of the "Fifty Women Who Make a Difference" by Memphis Woman Magazine and a "Hometown Hero" by The Susan G. Komen Foundation, has been featured often on Memphis television and radio, and is a contributing author to Carpe Diem, A Retreat for Life.

Her speeches have captured audiences that include cancer survivors and supporters, medical professionals, business people and women’s groups with her gift for finding humor in the midst of crisis.
